SEI Global Wealth Services Signs Guardian Wealth Management

Guardian Wealth Management Executes Strategic Expansion Using SEI's Global Wealth Platform

LONDON -- (Marketwire) -- 08/09/12 -- SEI (NASDAQ: SEIC) announced today that Guardian Wealth Management (Guardian) is the latest wealth manager to sign on with the company's Global Wealth Services (GWS) offering, enabled by the Global Wealth Platform (GWP). SEI will provide Guardian with a comprehensive end-to-end solution for their entire global book of business.

Guardian Wealth Management, a large, independent financial planning and advice company, offers comprehensive wealth management solutions to clients around the world. The company, which recently announced their plan to move their U.K. office to Cardiff, is developing their U.K. presence, in part due to the impending implementation of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) at the end of this year.

Guardian Wealth Management has chosen to partner with SEI in an effort to reach their strategic objectives. GWS will provide Guardian Wealth Management with the opportunity to manage their clients and business across a single, global platform structure, creating a unique service proposition.

SEI provides its GWS to a range of firms across the financial-services industry and this announcement follows recent strategic partnerships established with Jupiter, Brewin Dolphin, Broadstone, and Berry.

Ryan Hicke, Managing Director, SEI's Global Wealth Services U.K., said:

"We are excited to have signed Guardian Wealth Management and look forward to providing the firm a non-restricted and truly global solution. SEI's Global Wealth Platform will give Guardian the capability to scale their book of business into a successful international offering."

David Howell, CEO, Guardian Wealth Management, said:

"After a thorough due-diligence process, we decided SEI was the best possible partner. SEI has a strong track record of success supporting wealth managers in delivering flexible, transparent wealth management services. Additionally, SEI's focus on innovation and growth appealed to us. SEI's ability to provide us with a global platform will enable us to reach our growth goals for the future. The platform allows the client and adviser to see real-time valuations on their investments wherever they are in the world."
